ENGINEERING MODIFICATIONS AND REPAIRS
Field modifications and repairs may be required for structural issues from a multitude of problems including natural damage from storms, high winds, and hurricanes, water, and/or fire; accidental or indeterminate damage from cracked, bowed, deteoriated foundation walls, footing settlement, heaving or sinking foundations, termite damage, and others.
Other modifications include obtaining building permits for work previously done without a permit, in which case we can inspect the work and prepare as-built/modification drawings for any proposed work needed per building codes.
Site inspections are usually required.
Typical structural repairs include design and supply of sealed engineering reports and drawings to stabilize the structure which may include the following:
- Wind Load Calculations
- After-the-fact Permits and Inspections
- Construction Affidavits
- Repair Detail Plans
- Load Bearing Wall Openings
- Modify Window and Door Sizes
- Complete Renovation
- House Additions
